Current Vacancies -

St Brides Spa Hotel

Administration and HR Co-ordinator - We currently have an exciting opportunity available to join our team as Administration and HR Co-ordinator. Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, you will provide a professional, efficient and organised administration service to the whole company.

As a key member of the team, you will gain experience across the whole spectrum of the HR function, in particular recruitment and selection and training and development. You will act as the first point of contact for all staff and managers in relation to employee issues and will work closely with managers on a number of activities. As an expanding company, recruitment will form a significant part of the role from advertising vacancies and producing adverts to co-ordinating interviews. You will be the point of contact for all new starter queries, assisting with the new starter process from co-ordinating induction plans, producing and issuing contracts of employment, organising uniform and following up references. In time, you will be expected to assist with interviewing and delivering company inductions.

This is an extremely busy and demanding role and you will be expected to work on your own initiative to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi task and work to tight deadlines. A professional, customer orientated, quality driven, flexible approach is essential. With strong communication skills, you’ll have the ability to engage with people at all levels in order to build good working relationships. You will be expected to work to the highest level of confidentiality and to act with integrity, and tact at all times. Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous, however full training will be provided for the right candidate. There is also the opportunity to further develop and gain professional qualifications through work based learning. This is a full time role, working five days out of seven and may involve some evening and weekend work.

Receptionist - We are currently seeking a warm and motivated individual with a sparkling personality! The ideal candidate will be genuine team player with intuitive customer service skills, who is able to demonstrate knowledge of hotel reception procedures and a wish to exceed guest expectations. As Hotel Receptionist, you will be responsible for offering a welcoming and seamless check in and a personalised farewell. Your duties will involve booking and confirming hotel reservations, dealing with any guest queries, daily banking duties and to offer the hotel’s services to ensure that the hotel maximises revenue at every opportunity.  This is a busy and varied role where you will be expected to deal with guests in a polite manner and possess the initiative to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous. This is a full time role, working five days out of seven and will involve some evening and weekend work.

Commis Chef - As Commis Chef, you will contribute to the efficient running of a thriving kitchen and be involved in producing a variety of dishes to the very highest of standards of food preparation and presentation.

We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, committed, and enthusiastic. Good communication skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team are essential for this position. The ideal candidate would already hold an appropriate professional qualification and an up to date food hygiene certificate, however, although previous experience is desirable, it is not essential for this position as full training will be given to the right candidate. This is a full time position and will involve weekend and evening work.

Night Porter - This is a highly responsible role and one which requires maturity and trustworthiness. As night porter, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel as well as ensuring its security during the night. You must be flexible enough to deal with guests in a polite manner yet be self motivated and possess the initiative to ensure that all tasks asked of you are completed to the highest standard.  You should also possess a calm nature to be able to act accordingly in cases of emergency. Your main duties will include cleaning work, bar work, preparation of early morning breakfasts, checking in late arrivals and checking out early departures. This is a busy and varied role. Previous experience in bar work and security will be advantageous but is not essential.

Food & Beverage Servers - We currently have some fantastic opportunities available within our Food and Beverage department. We are looking for individuals with flair and a passion for hospitality to help drive our service levels forward, to create a guest experience that is truly memorable. We want individuals who are hardworking, self -motivated with strong communication skills. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for delivering exceptional standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience of working within a quality Food and Beverage establishment. These positions will include evening and weekend work. These are casual seasonal vacancies which will be reviewed at the end of September.

Housekeeping Supervisor - A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team, as Housekeeping Supervisor. We are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor with a passion for hospitality, who can drive our service levels forward and create a positive first impression to ensure a guest experience that is truly memorable. You will support the Housekeeping Manager in ensuring that the highest standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times within public areas and guest rooms. You will assist in managing and motivating the team and ensure that all staff in the department are adequately trained. We require a pro-active, hands on supervisor who will actively guide and direct the whole team to ensure attention to detail and the delivery of high service standards at all times. You will have a proven background of working at a supervisory level within a quality hotel operation. You will be task focussed and possess highly developed communication and organisational skills, as well as a strong work ethic.

This is a full time position working five days out of seven and will include evening and weekend work

Food and Beverage Assistants – We currently have a number of casual seasonal positions available within our Food and Beverage department. We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, self motivated with strong communication skills and who possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for delivering exceptional standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working within a quality Food and Beverage establishment, however, full training will be given. These positions will include evening and weekend work.

Marina Restaurant

Food and Beverage Assistants - We are looking for casual seasonal staff to work as part of our Food and Beverage team at the Marina Restaurant, which is located in the village of Saundersfoot. We want individuals with a friendly and bubbly personality to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Your main duties will include greeting and serving guests, clearing tables, ensuring a clean eating environment and till work. Experience of working within a customer facing or food and beverage role is preferred. These positions will include evening and weekend work.
